Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 brings Lucia, Manato, and Yidhari with Memories of Dreams Bygone

HoYoverse, the developer of popular action-RPG Zenless Zone Zero, is leaning into the spooky and mysterious with Version 2.3: Memories of Dreams Bygone.

This update takes players into the newly-unlocked Timesworn Hills, where ghost stories linger in abandoned ruins deep within the Hollow. Alongside Spook Shack, players will unravel eerie tales while welcoming three new agents: Lucia, Yidhari, and Komano Manato. The update also introduces fresh gameplay features, new outfits for Vivian and Manato, and several themed events.

Before stepping into the unknown, Proxies are reminded to redeem the Version 2.2 livestream code for Polychromes and other in-game resources:

Code: LUCIA1015: 300 Polychrome, 30,000 Dennies, two Senior Investigator Logs, and three W-Engine Energy Modules.
The Special Program code will expire on 1 October at 23:59:59 (UTC+8).

New Agents: Lucia, Manato, and Yidhari

Three agents join the battlefield in Version 2.3, with two S-Rank characters and one A-Rank character making their debut.

Lucia

Lucia is an S-Rank Ether Support Agent – will arrive in the first half of Version 2.3. Once a member of the Spook Shack forum from afar, she will appear in Failume Heights for an offline meetup.

In combat, Lucia wields dreamlike Ether powers that let her recreate Ethereals. By gathering Dream Points, she can enter a Dream state and unleash Ether Veil: Wellspring, boosting her allies’ maximum HP and enhancing team damage by raising Sheer Force and triggering Aftershocks. Her signature S-Rank W-Engine, Dreamlit Hearth, will feature alongside her in the first half banner.

Komano Manato

Manato is an A-Rank Fire Rupture Agent – strikes with Sheer DMG scaling from his maximum HP. He joins the battlefield in the first half of Version 2.3 with his A-Rank W-Engine, Grill O’Wisp. Players can also obtain Manato for free through the limited event When Dreams Remain Unfinished.

Yidhari

Yidhari an S-Rank Ice Rupture Agent – will be available in the second half of the update. She builds Sheer Force from her maximum HP, and her icy strikes always deal Sheer DMG, cutting through enemy defences. The lower her HP percentage, the greater her damage, rewarding players who balance risk and recovery. Her S-Rank W-Engine, Kraken’s Cradle, will be included in the second half banner.

Alongside these debuts, S-Rank agents Vivian (Ether – Anomaly) and Ju Fufu (Fire – Stun) will return. Vivian will appear in the first half of the banner cycle, while Ju Fufu will return in the second half.
